Boron Santa Fe Depot   Amargo Theater
Santa Fe Railroad Depot
This building was first built and used by the railroad at Kramer Junction (three miles east of Boron). It was moved to Boron in 1941 and was used by the Santa Fe Railroad for many years to schedule rail shipments of borax across the country.
  Amargo Theater
This small amphitheater has been used by the community for several events over the last few years. Some of the events held in the theater include free concerts, the Twenty Mule Team Days parade awards, pageants and church services.

Fresno Scrapper
This scrapper was used to remove borax from the desert floor in Death Valley.
  Sack Printer
This piece of manchinery was used to print the labels on sacks of borax being shipped by rail at U. S. Borax.

Two Man Mining Exhibit
This exhibit demonstrates a two man hoist and ore bucket mining operation. Ore was extracted from the mine then hoisted up above ground. It was then loaded into ore carts and shipped elsewhere for processing.
  Ore Cart
This antique ore cart was used to haul ore from the mining locaton to the processing location. It is filled with Ulexite from the U. S. Borax mine located northwest of town.
